The Bowie VFD RS, Inc. does not and never will solicit donations by telephone. We never call and ask you to tape your donation to your door for pick-up. We conduct two major fund-raising events, a door-to-door Photo Fund Drive in the spring and a Mail Fund Drive in the fall. Webster Training Trophy Awarded to BVFD Members

Tuesday evening at the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association Convention 2026 Awards Program, Bowie VFD Training Committee Chair Craig Smith accepted the George Webster Training Award. This award is given to the multi station Volunteer Fire Department that completed the most hours of training through the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute over the last year.
