| The Bowie VFD RS, Inc. does not and never will solicit donations by telephone. We never call and ask you to tape your donation to your door for pick-up. We conduct two major fund-raising events, a door-to-door Photo Fund Drive in the spring and a Mail Fund Drive in the fall. Bowie Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary Support Team The Bowie Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary Support Team is an active group within our department that serves in many non-operational roles. Our mission is to assist our First Responders with the day-to-day work load, to allow them more time for training and call response. This group works in many areas including administration, fundraising, community safety, public relations, and on-scene rehab. The Support Team staffs a Canteen Support Unit to care for first responders during emergency calls. Anyone interested in joining the team is encouraged to attend our monthly meeting or call 240-508-1016. Auxiliary Officers Amy Locker, Chairperson Meetings The Bowie Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary usually meets the third Monday of the month starting at 7:30 PM at Company 39 (15454 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD, 20715), and we invite anyone interested in Auxiliary membership to join us. |
