BowieVFD regrets to announce the passing of Life Member George Amyx. George, having joined the department in 1965, provided over 58 years of service. George was a friend and mentor to all, and his frequent fire house presence was noticed and appreciated by members young and old. He will be truly missed.

Funeral: Friday, January 26, 2024, 12:00pm at Lee Funeral Home
Funeral procession from Lee Funeral Home to Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis) immediately following the funeral for the graveside service and burial.
