The Bowie Volunteer Fire Department is saddened to announce the passing of Company 19 Life Member George Clark on Monday May 5th. George joined our department in 1959 and continued to serve until his passing. He filled many roles in our department including operational, administrative, and equipment repair. George was inducted into the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association Hall of Fame in 2011 in recognition of his dedicated Volunteer service. We send our condolences to his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2pm - 6pm on Saturday June 7, 2025, at the American Legion Disney Bell Post #66 (9605 Laurel-Bowie Road). A Departmental Memorial is scheduled at 2:30pm.
